From a modest start in 1990 with a spinning mill of only 14,400 spindles, Nishat Chunian Group has grown to become one of the largest business conglomerates of Pakistan. We are now a vertically integrated textile company with a yearly spinning production of 75,000 tons of yarn, 3 million meters of greige fabric in weaving, and 4 million meters of finished fabric. In 2007, the company diversified into the power sector. In 2016, NCG expanded into the local retail sector with its brand, The Linen Company X Sweave, a world-class home textiles and bedding store. We believe that a bed sheet is the most important product we ever buy.

Think about it, a great bedsheet lasts a lifetime. We spend at least a third of our lives using it. It comforts us in times both good and bad and so much more. A great bed sheet is an investment in our own well-being. As you can probably tell, we take bedding very seriously and we deeply care about our impact on the planet. That’s why our products are built to last a lifetime.

For us, it wasn’t just about building a better product at a better price, we wanted to make the world’s most comfortable bed sheet.

In our journey, we stumbled upon a new material for bedding- Tencel. A natural fiber which comes from eucalyptus trees. In our tests, the material consistently came out as the softest. Eucalyptus fibers also had the added advantages of being hypoallergenic, wrinkle-resistant, and eco-friendly.

Did you know that our body temperature falls about 2 degrees when we’re asleep? Humans sleep better when we’re cooler, and eucalyptus fibers are also naturally cooling. Finally, we finished our product with a percale weave that ensures maximum breathability and crispness. However, there was a problem - Eucalyptus sheets were annoyingly slippery and way too shiny for a modern aesthetic. So, we went back to the drawing board and figured out that by adding the highest quality cotton, we would solve our problem.

We sourced the finest yarns from the world (Extra Long Staple Egyptian Cotton), and started testing the optimal mix. After almost a year and hundreds of trials, we finally got it.

We looked further for more sustainable materials to launch our new range of sheets when we found Bamboo - It’s sustainable as bamboo plants grow quickly and don't require pesticides or fertilizers. Moreover, Bamboo sheets are super soft, hypoallergenic, wrinkle resistant as well as naturally cooling. We then launched more options in our cotton collection such as Percale 500 Thread Count Pima Cotton Sheets and Egyptian Cotton Percale Sheets T400.
